Issue 3/2024 of Zeit Geschichte is focused on the Vikings. Traces of this period can be found not only in the Scandinavian countries. There is also some to see in northern Germany, for example in Haithabu in Schleswig-Holstein. Berthold Steinhilber photographed reconstructed houses and a rune stone in the Haithabu Viking Museum and the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo.
